Learn the
Roller song, including all the various tours that the Roller
Canaries sing and those tours that a good Roller will
sing.
Share the
knowledge of breeding and raising young Roller
canaries.
Obtaining
club closed bands for proper identification of the members young
birds.
Become
aware of song contests and shows, how to enter, their dates,
etc.
Competition with other
breeders.
Membership in the Southern California Roller
Canary Club is open to anyone who is interested in the Roller Canary
and who wants to promote the care, breeding, training and exhibiting
of this "opera singer" of the bird world.
The Application for Membership form may be
printed and completed and mailed to the club treasurer along with
payment of the first year's dues in the amount of
$40.00.
Membership
in the club includes a subscription to the club's monthly newsletter,
The Roller
Canary Digest, a monthly
publication.
Club Members may also purchase closed bands each
December, or later when more bands are needed, for the birds
to be hatched in the following year. Price for the bands vary
according to the cost from the
manufacturer.
